BudGuard processes uploads for educational and machine-learning research workflows using explicit opt-in consent. Personal data collection is minimized.

Uploaded images are processed server-side to remove metadata (including EXIF) before long-term storage. Upload forms do not request country or contact email.

Salted hashes of network/client signals may be retained for abuse prevention and rate limiting. Individual submitter identities are not published.

Data may be used to train and evaluate models in aggregated research outputs. BudGuard provides educational support only, not diagnosis.
