Photo Guide
How to photograph for best results
Useful ML image sets include close-up evidence, mid-range context, and whole-plant context. Avoid blur, heavy filters, and extreme lighting.
Step 1
Close-up
Capture the exact symptom area in focus with neutral lighting.
Step 2
Mid-range
Show the affected leaf, flower, stem, or cluster in plant context.
Step 3
Whole plant
Include plant structure, stage, and where the pattern appears.
Step 4
Multiple angles
Add a second angle when texture, fuzz, webbing, or residue is hard to see.
